Orphaned Groom Faces Financial Hardship Ahead of Wedding, Pleads for Public Help

Baruch, a young groom from Israel, is confronting profound loneliness and financial difficulties during what should be the happiest time of his life. Orphaned at a young age after losing his father to illness just before his bar mitzvah and his mother suddenly at age 15, Baruch has spent his adolescence moving between yeshivas and boarding schools without a stable home or family support. Recently engaged to a woman from a large, economically challenged family, Baruch’s joy has been overshadowed by the stress of covering basic wedding expenses. He admits to taking loans even for small necessities like a gift for his bride and fears starting married life burdened by debt. Baruch shared, “I have suffered enough in my life. I have no choice but to swallow my pride and ask the public for help.”
