Italian Club Torino Eyes Maccabi Tel Aviv Striker Said Abu Farhi Ahead of Transfer Deadline
Italian Serie A club Torino has reportedly identified Said Abu Farhi, the young striker of Maccabi Tel Aviv, as a potential signing before the transfer window closes. Following scouting visits by Torino and Genoa representatives to watch Abu Farhi play against Sheriff Tiraspol, Torino is considering making a move for the player. Abu Farhi has attracted attention from several European clubs and Major League Soccer teams as well.
Maccabi Tel Aviv, however, has set a high asking price for Abu Farhi, reportedly not willing to sell him for less than 6 million euros, a valuation similar to that previously placed on Dor Turgeman. Abu Farhi has started the season strongly, scoring four goals in four matches across all competitions.
During the recent break, Maccabi Tel Aviv strengthened their squad by signing Astr Sukler, and currently have Elad Madmon and Younes Malada available, while injured player Ion Niculescu remains sidelined and inactive for now.
