Man Arrested for Leaving Bullets, Knives, and Red Marks at Banks and Grocery Stores in Tel Aviv Area

A 54-year-old resident of Holon was arrested on suspicion of involvement in three unusual incidents that took place on Friday in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The suspect allegedly left bullets, knives, and red 'X' marks at the entrances of two Mizrahi Bank branches and a Rami Levy supermarket.

At the Mizrahi Bank branch on Yohanan HaSandlar Street in Bat Yam, a bullet was found attached to the entrance door handle. Another bullet was discovered on the door of the Rami Levy store on HaPeled Street in Holon, where red 'X' marks were also sprayed on the windows. At the third scene, the Mizrahi Bank branch on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, police found three knives stabbed into the entrance door, painted red, along with red-painted doorposts and red 'X' graffiti on the door.

The Tel Aviv District Police responded promptly to the reports, collecting evidence and launching an investigation led by the Holon police station. Forensic and technological methods enabled investigators to identify and arrest the suspect within hours. He was taken for questioning and subsequently detained. The police have charged him with threats and property damage and plan to request an extension of his detention for further investigation.
