Israeli Soldiers Honor Beloved Commander Harel Birnstok Killed in South Lebanon

Harel Birnstok, a respected reserve lieutenant colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, was mourned by comrades and family following his death in South Lebanon. His sister, Chen Vaks, and fellow soldier Tzviki Goldberg shared memories with Prof. Aryeh Eldad and Ron Kofman, highlighting Birnstok's dedication and uplifting spirit. Goldberg recalled Birnstok’s preference for viewing military service as a "privilege" rather than a burden and pledged to preserve his combat legacy through stories and remembrance.
