30-Year-Old Cyclist Dies After Vehicle Collision Near Beit Shemesh
A 30-year-old man died this morning after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Road 3855 near the entrance to Beit Shemesh. The incident occurred early today, with emergency services receiving the report at 06:09 via Magen David Adom's Jerusalem dispatch center. Paramedics and medics arrived at the scene to find the cyclist unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and suffering from severe head trauma. Despite their efforts to provide medical care, they were forced to declare his death at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. Paramedic Beni Rozens described the victim as lying beside the road in critical condition following the collision.
