Cyclist Killed in Car Collision Near Entrance to Beit Shemesh
A male cyclist in his 30s died Friday morning after being struck by a car on Road 3855 near the entrance to Beit Shemesh. The incident occurred around 06:09 when emergency services received the report. Paramedics who arrived at the scene found the cyclist unconscious with severe head trauma and no pulse or breathing. Despite medical efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the site. Paramedic Beni Rozens described the victim as lying beside the road with critical injuries from the collision. Jerusalem District police are investigating the accident. The driver of the vehicle was detained for questioning, and traffic accident investigators have collected evidence to determine the circumstances of the crash.
