51-Year-Old Man Arrested for Alleged Rape of Teen in Bat Yam Apartment Hotel

A 51-year-old resident of Bat Yam was arrested on suspicion of raping an approximately 18-year-old woman at an apartment hotel in Bat Yam. The violent incident occurred on August 6, 2026, and was reported to the police around 7:00 PM. Police from the Holon station and forensic investigators from the Ayalon district promptly responded to the scene to collect evidence and identify the suspect.

During searches in the area, officers from the Bat Yam station located the suspect in an open area within the city and took him into custody. He was transferred to the Bat Yam police station for questioning. Based on the investigation findings so far, the police intend to request an extension of his detention at the N12 court to continue probing the circumstances of the case.
