Samsung Israel Launches Galaxy Z Fold8 and Flip8 with Padel Event Featuring Sports Stars

Samsung Israel hosted a unique launch event for its new foldable Galaxy Z series devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8, at the A Padel complex in Savion. The event was led by Samsung Israel CEO Ryan Choi and brought together company executives, business partners, clients, and notable figures from sports and entertainment. The venue was transformed into a padel court setting to emphasize the premium lifestyle aspect of the new devices, highlighting their AI features, multitasking capabilities, and the experience of using the phones both folded and unfolded.

The event featured tennis player and businessman Andy Ram, co-owner of the A Padel network, who expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting it connected two important parts of his life: tennis and Samsung. Other sports personalities present included Eran Zahavi, Shalom Michaelashvili, Eliran Atar, Barak Bachar, Ran Ben Shimon, Alex Shtilov, and Ofir Haim. A short padel tournament was held among the guests, with the winning pair receiving a Galaxy Z Fold8 as a prize.

Throughout the evening, the devices were showcased in interactive stations, and the venue was decorated in the series’ signature green colors to reinforce the premium branding. The event concluded with a dinner at the LoneL restaurant, led by chef Yinon Alal. For Samsung executives, the occasion served as a multifaceted opportunity to launch the product, engage with partners and clients, and create a premium atmosphere around the Galaxy Z series beyond just the technology itself.
