Five Injured in Deadly Three-Vehicle Crash Near Makhora in Jordan Valley

A severe traffic accident involving three vehicles occurred near the Makhora settlement in the Jordan Valley, resulting in five injuries, four of them critical. One of the vehicles was thrown off the road and caught fire. Firefighters from the Shomron regional station rescued a trapped female driver from an overturned car and extinguished the burning vehicle.

Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided on-site treatment and evacuated the injured by helicopter to hospitals. Two 17-year-old girls, unconscious and suffering severe head trauma, were airlifted to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. A 15-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man, both in serious condition with multiple injuries, along with a 30-year-old man in moderate condition, were transported to Beilinson Hospital with the assistance of IDF medical forces.

MDA paramedics described extensive vehicle damage and severe injuries among the victims. Rescue teams worked simultaneously to free the trapped driver and manage the fire. The incident highlights the dangers on roads in the Jordan Valley and the coordinated response of emergency services.
