Maccabi Ramat Gan's Zisman Hall Undergoes Major Renovation Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Maccabi Ramat Gan's home arena, Zisman Hall in Ramat Gan, is undergoing a significant renovation ahead of the 2026/27 basketball season. The project, funded by the Ramat Gan municipality and club owner Avi Gabay, involves an investment of approximately two million shekels. The renovation includes replacing all seats on the court level with new stands, relocating the VIP section, and adding about 200 more seats near the court.

Additional upgrades include refurbishing the playing court, renovating the men's and women's team locker rooms, improving public restrooms, upgrading the referees' room, constructing new offices for both teams, and building a gym adjacent to the hall. These improvements aim to enhance the fan experience and foster a stronger community connection to the club.

Avi Gabay emphasized that the renovation is an investment in the fans' viewing experience and the club's renewal process, aiming to create a more enjoyable and exciting event atmosphere for all ages. Ramat Gan Mayor Carmel Shama HaCohen highlighted the city's commitment to investing in sports infrastructure to attract youth participation and support local teams, noting the upgrades follow years of neglect.

The renovation is considered temporary until a new arena is built to serve both the men's and women's teams in the Premier League. The club and city officials expressed optimism about the upcoming season and the enhanced facilities that will serve as a source of local pride and community engagement.
