El Al's FLY CARD Turns Everyday Spending Into Real Flights for Members

El Al Airlines, in partnership with Isracard, promotes its new FLY CARD credit card that directly links daily spending to accumulating points in El Al's frequent flyer program, which can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and travel benefits. Over the past year, more than one million flight tickets have been purchased solely with points earned through this collaboration, demonstrating the card's practical value beyond typical credit card rewards.

The FLY CARD allows users to convert routine expenses such as groceries, dining, and online shopping into points that contribute toward actual flights with El Al. New cardholders receive an immediate benefit of a free flight ticket to select destinations including Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Rome, Prague, Vienna, Warsaw, and Zurich, with this offer extended through the end of August 2026.

Starting in 2027, the program will introduce a "1+1" flight ticket benefit, allowing cardholders to purchase one ticket and receive a second ticket for a companion free once a year, subject to terms. Additionally, on Tuesdays, FLY CARD holders enjoy a 50% discount on points required for bonus tickets to selected destinations. Existing FLY CARD users issued by CAL must switch to the new Isracard version by the end of 2026 to maintain benefits and points accumulation.

The program emphasizes not just earning points but converting them quickly into tangible travel experiences, enhancing the overall journey from booking to check-in and flight. This integration distinguishes FLY CARD from general credit cards by embedding it within El Al's frequent flyer ecosystem, aiming to improve both the quantity and quality of travel for Israeli consumers.
