El Al and Isracard Launch FLY CARD to Turn Everyday Spending into Flight Rewards

El Al and Isracard have introduced the FLY CARD, a credit card designed to convert routine expenses into points redeemable for flights and travel perks through El Al's frequent flyer program. Over the past year, more than one million flight tickets were purchased solely using frequent flyer points, demonstrating the card's practical value beyond just point accumulation. The card allows users to earn points on everyday spending such as groceries, fuel, bills, and online orders, which can then be redeemed for flights and additional benefits depending on the card type and frequent flyer club terms.

New cardholders who join or switch to the FLY CARD by the end of August 2026 receive a complimentary flight ticket to select destinations including Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Rome, Prague, Vienna, Warsaw, and Zurich, subject to terms. Starting in 2027, an annual 1+1 offer will allow cardholders to buy one ticket and receive a second free for a companion, alongside ongoing promotions like 50% off points redemption on select Tuesdays.

Beyond flight tickets, the FLY CARD offers travel-related benefits such as extra baggage allowance, preferred seating, upgrades, lounge access, and special pricing on bonus tickets. Premium cardholders can also earn "diamonds" to elevate their frequent flyer status. The card is particularly suited for El Al travelers, families planning vacations, occasional flyers, frequent travelers, and those who want to consolidate daily expenses into travel rewards.

Current holders of the FLY CARD issued by CAL must switch to the new El Al-Isracard version by the end of 2026 to continue earning points and benefits. The old card will no longer accumulate points or offer frequent flyer perks after January 1, 2027. The program emphasizes converting everyday spending into tangible travel rewards, making it a practical option for those seeking to maximize the value of their credit card in relation to air travel with El Al.
