El Al's FLY CARD Credit Program Transitions to Isracard, Cardholders Must Switch by 2027

El Al's frequent flyer credit card, FLY CARD, has recently transitioned from being issued by CAL and American Express to Isracard, effective from June 1, 2026. This change requires current FLY CARD holders to actively switch to the new Isracard-issued FLY CARD to continue earning points, diamonds (for premium cards), and other benefits within El Al's frequent flyer program.

Cardholders using the CAL-issued FLY CARD can still use their cards and accumulate points until December 31, 2026. After this date, the CAL cards will no longer function as FLY CARDs, meaning they will not provide the exclusive benefits or points accumulation tied to El Al's frequent flyer club. The physical cards may still operate as payment methods but without the loyalty perks.

The switch to Isracard is digital and straightforward, available through Isracard's website or customer service centers. Existing points and diamonds remain intact in the frequent flyer account, but completing the transition is essential to maintain uninterrupted benefits. The FLY CARD differs from other travel-related credit cards by being directly linked to El Al's frequent flyer club, offering unique advantages such as bonus points on flights, discounted award tickets, extra baggage allowance, birthday flight discounts, and exclusive offers on the FLYSTORE platform.

Several FLY CARD variants exist, including FLY CARD, FLY CARD PREMIUM Select, FLY CARD PREMIUM, and FLY CARD PREMIUM American Express, each with different fee structures, points accrual rates, and benefits.
