Israeli Couple Charged with Espionage for Sharing Intelligence with Hostile Entity
The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office has filed espionage charges against Tamirlan Amshukov, 26, and Alina Kushnirenko, 24, a couple from Ashkelon. The indictment alleges that between April and July 2026, the pair systematically gathered intelligence on various locations across Israel, including residences of security personnel and critical civilian and military infrastructure. They transmitted this information to a foreign agent via Telegram in exchange for payments, including cryptocurrency. Among the sites documented were a defense factory employee, a security forces member, Ramat Aviv Mall, and the Har Herzl area in Jerusalem.
