Four Palestinians Charged for Assault and Weapon Theft from Soldier Near Susya Settlement
The Judea Military Prosecution has filed charges against four Palestinians suspected of assaulting a soldier on leave and stealing his weapon on July 25 near the Susya settlement south of Hebron. According to an investigation by the Anti-Terror Unit of the Minority Division in the Judea and Samaria District Police, the soldier was grazing his livestock on state-designated land approved for grazing near Susya when one suspect approached him to drive him away. Subsequently, the other suspects joined, violently attacked the soldier, seized his weapon, and fled the scene. The weapon was recovered following their arrest, and an indictment is expected to be filed against them in the coming days.
