Four Palestinians Charged with Stealing Weapon from Soldier Near Susya

A prosecutor's statement was filed on Wednesday against four Palestinians suspected of stealing a weapon from an Israeli soldier on leave near Susya about two weeks ago. The indictment is expected to be submitted in the coming days. According to the investigation, the soldier was herding his livestock near Susya when one suspect approached to drive him away, followed by the others. The four then attacked the soldier, seized his weapon, and fled the scene. The suspects were arrested during the investigation, and the stolen weapon was recovered.

Moshe Pinchi, commander of the Judea and Samaria police district, described the incident as serious, emphasizing the coordinated efforts of the district police, Border Police fighters, and IDF forces in locating, arresting the suspects, and retrieving the weapon. He stated that this step marks significant progress in prosecuting those involved and affirmed the district's commitment to maintaining security, governance, and sovereignty in the area, preventing such incidents from becoming routine or undermining the safety of residents and security forces.

In related news, a soldier on leave was arrested on suspicion of involvement in shooting a Palestinian minor in the West Bank, and two Israelis accidentally entered Jenin with their vehicle and were stoned.
