Close Associates of Gadi Eisenkot Deny Role in New Haredi Party Formation

Two associates of Gadi Eisenkot, Ronen Manlis and Ronen Aviani, were reported to have helped establish the infrastructure of a new Haredi party called "The Haredi Public." The party aims to represent a liberal Haredi audience and was recently formed. According to a report by Kan News, Aviani expressed doubts in private conversations about the party surpassing the electoral threshold in upcoming elections. Inbar Giti, a candidate on Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party list, is also reportedly connected to the new party and its donors.

The report identified Moti Leitner as the key figure behind the new Haredi party. Manlis and Aviani were said to be involved mainly in the early stages of the party's infrastructure development. However, Aviani strongly denied any involvement in the party's establishment, management, or financing, calling the claims false and based on unverified information. The Haredi Public party also denied the allegations, stating that Manlis, Aviani, and Giti never advised the faction and labeling the accusations as serious defamation.

The party emphasized it was founded to represent tens of thousands of Haredim seeking representation within the right-wing bloc. It accused opponents, described as fearful political operatives from existing Haredi parties, of spreading falsehoods to undermine the right-wing alliance instead of addressing core issues facing the Haredi community.
