Close Associates of Gadi Eizenkot Helped Establish New Haredi Party

The newly formed party "The Haredi Public," led by Moti Leitner and aimed at the liberal Haredi community, has received guidance and assistance from associates of Gadi Eizenkot, chairman of the "Yashar!" party. According to Kan News, Ronen Manlis and Ronen Aviani, both close to Eizenkot, were involved in the early organizational stages and helped shape the party's strategic direction. After the foundational work was completed, their involvement decreased, with Aviani continuing only occasional advisory roles. Aviani reportedly expressed doubts privately about the party's ability to pass the electoral threshold in the upcoming elections.

Additionally, Inbar Giti, Eizenkot's candidate for the Knesset, maintains contact with members and donors of "The Haredi Public." However, the party strongly denied these claims, stating that Manlis, Aviani, and Giti never advised the faction and called the allegations serious defamation. The party emphasized it was founded to represent tens of thousands of Haredim seeking representation within the right-wing bloc, accusing rival Haredi parties of spreading falsehoods out of panic over the right-wing bloc's potential dissolution and ignoring critical issues within the Haredi community.
