According to senior Iranian sources speaking with Arab media, all major contentious issues have been resolved and most obstacles removed. The final step depends on U.S. President Donald Trump endorsing the agreement, even if only through tacit acceptance of its terms.

The Iranian side states that the agreement’s geographic features, including approved shipping routes and the Revolutionary Guards’ inspection and control mechanisms, have been fully agreed upon.
