Woman Found Dead on Beach Near Zichron Yaakov, Police Investigate

A woman was pulled unconscious from the sea near Nachsholim beach close to Zichron Yaakov and was later pronounced dead at the scene by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics. The incident occurred around 13:27, when lifeguards rescued the woman from the water and emergency medical teams were dispatched following a report to MDA's 101 hotline. Upon arrival, the medical staff found her without pulse or breathing and confirmed her death after conducting medical checks.

Shoval Katzin, an emergency medical technician with MDA, stated that the woman was found unconscious and without vital signs, leading to the decision to declare her dead on site. Concurrently, police received a report of a body washing ashore near Zichron Yaakov. Law enforcement officers secured the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death, including efforts to identify the deceased.
