Israeli Health and Environment Ministries Warn of Pollution in Northern Streams

The Israeli Ministry of Health and Ministry of Environmental Protection have reported abnormal pollution levels in water samples taken from nine streams in northern Israel. The ministries warned that entering these streams could be dangerous due to the presence of contaminants. The affected streams include Banias near Kfar Szold Bridge, Hasbani from the Roman Bridge to the confluence promenade (entry to the Jordan River), Jordan River from Joseph Bridge to Arik Bridge, as well as the Hexagon Pool, Gilabon, Zaki, El Al, Tzalmon near the Haruv Pool, and Kziv near the Delavim Pool. Authorities emphasized the health risks associated with exposure to these polluted waters and advised the public to avoid entering these areas until further notice.
