Health Officials Warn of Hazardous Water Pollution in Northern Israel Streams
The Israeli Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environmental Protection have reported abnormal water sampling results indicating pollution in several streams in northern Israel. Due to these findings, entering the following streams is considered potentially dangerous: Jordan River (from Joseph Bridge to Arik Bridge), Meshushim Pool, Gilabon, Zaki, Yehudiya, Tzalmon (Haruv Pool), and Kaziv (Ein Tamir and Ein Hardalit). Authorities advise the public to avoid contact with these waters until further notice to prevent health risks associated with the contamination.
