Mother of Wounded Israeli Soldier Moved by Recruitment Video of Hesder Yeshiva Students
Chava Harel, mother of Corporal Eliav, who was severely injured during an operational activity in Lebanon, expressed deep emotion after watching a video released by Channel 7 showing Hesder Yeshiva students celebrating their enlistment into the Armored Corps at the Tel Hashomer recruitment office. She reflected on the enthusiasm and values of the young recruits, recalling how her family experienced a similar moment about a year and a half ago when Eliav enlisted.
Harel shared the emotional journey her family has undergone since Eliav's injury more than three months ago, describing how he was in critical condition but has since made significant progress, which she described as a return to life. She thanked the public for their prayers and support and expressed gratitude to God for the miracles witnessed daily during his recovery. Despite the challenges ahead, she remains hopeful and urged continued prayers for Eliav and all wounded soldiers.
