Serbian Center Dusan Miljic Signs Two-Year Deal with Hapoel Jerusalem Basketball
Hapoel Jerusalem has officially signed Serbian center Dusan Miljic, who stands 2.15 meters tall, to a two-year contract. Miljic, 27, joins the Israeli Premier League team from Lebanese club Al Riyadi and will play under coach Sasha Obradovic.
Miljic had a strong previous season with Romanian club Cluj, averaging 12.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in the EuroCup. After finishing the Romanian season in early June, he moved to Lebanon before signing with Hapoel Jerusalem. His professional career began with Partizan Belgrade, followed by stints in Spain, Poland, Serbia, and Romania.
Last season, Miljic faced Hapoel Jerusalem twice in the EuroCup, losing both games but improving from a modest 7 points and 2 rebounds in the first match to 17 points and 5 rebounds in the second. Miljic expressed excitement about joining the club, praising its stature and promising to contribute to the team’s success and fan pride.
