Siraj Nasser Joins Bnei Eilat as Team Strengthens Ahead of New Season
Bnei Eilat, coached by Kobi Refua, has bolstered its squad by signing veteran forward Siraj Nasser. Nasser, who previously starred for Hapoel Be'er Sheva and also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv and Bnei Sakhnin, has agreed to join the Liga Bet club following his wife's acceptance of a senior position in Eilat. The 36-year-old forward, who played last season for Ironi Karmiel in Liga Alef North, will add experience to Bnei Eilat's growing roster.
Nasser joins other notable signings including Ofek Fischler, Gil Yitzhak, and Gidi Keniuk as the club aims for promotion to Liga Alef. Former goalkeeper Meir Cohen will serve as assistant coach under Refua. The club's clear objective for the upcoming season is to secure advancement to the higher division.
