Romanian Champions Craiova Pursue Nikita Stoilov Amid High Transfer Fee Dispute

Nikita Stoilov, who transferred from Maccabi Netanya to Dinamo Bucharest for 450,000 euros about a year ago, has attracted interest from Romanian champions Craiova following a strong season. Craiova has officially offered Dinamo 700,000 euros to acquire the defender, but Dinamo demands at least 3 million euros, creating a significant gap between the clubs. Discussions took place last week, with Craiova expressing a clear need for a center-back and interest in Stoilov remaining strong. Another round of negotiations is expected soon.

Craiova is currently competing in the Europa League playoffs and will face Finnish club KuPS in the third qualifying round. Progressing to the Conference League group stage could enable Craiova to increase their investment in Stoilov. Reports suggest Dinamo might lower their asking price to around 2 million euros. Stoilov is under contract with Dinamo until summer 2029 and was a key player last season, appearing in 43 matches and scoring once. Dinamo finished fourth in the league, 11 points behind Craiova, the reigning champions.
