Police Disperse Protesters in Jerusalem’s Paris Square
Police officers and Border Police units are operating in Paris Square in Jerusalem to restore order after protesters held an unauthorized march, blocked roads, and used amplification equipment in violation of police conditions.
According to the police, officers seized sound equipment that was being used at high volume near residential buildings before the start of Shabbat, and they are working to reopen the blocked traffic routes.
The restrictions for protests at the site have legal force following a High Court of Justice ruling.
