75-Year-Old Man Collapses in Bnei Brak Office, Resuscitated and Hospitalized

A 75-year-old man collapsed and lost consciousness at an office in Bnei Brak on Monday afternoon. United Hatzalah volunteers quickly arrived at the scene and performed prolonged resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and electric shocks using the organization's newly deployed ambulance defibrillator. The volunteers involved were Nachman Fried, Shalom Cohen, Yosef Zada, Assi Trozman, Aharon Lerer, and Roni Roizman. After sustained life-saving measures, the man's heartbeat was restored, and he was transported to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in serious but stable condition, under sedation and ventilation.

Nachman Fried, one of the volunteers, recounted that he was alerted from his workplace at the United Hatzalah dispatch center located one floor above the incident site. He immediately began intensive resuscitation, which he described as successful. The public was urged to pray for the recovery of Abraham Yosef ben Sarah, along with all other patients in Israel, citing the traditional prayer that God does not reject the prayers of many.
