70-Year-Old Man Collapses at Jerusalem Bus Stop and Regains Consciousness After Resuscitation
A 70-year-old man lost consciousness while waiting at a bus stop on Nathan Strauss Street in Jerusalem. Medical teams from United Hatzalah arrived promptly and performed resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions and defibrillation. According to eyewitnesses, the man collapsed suddenly at the bus stop.
Dr. Daniel Shkargi, a volunteer physician with United Hatzalah, along with paramedic Yechiel Stern, administered the life-saving procedures. Following their intervention, the man regained full consciousness. He was then transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for further evaluation, with his condition reported as stable.
