Police Arrest Suspect for Electric Scooter Theft in Holon Residential Yard

Police in Holon arrested a 52-year-old suspect accused of stealing an electric scooter valued at several thousand shekels from a residential yard on Hashaknai Street. According to the investigation, the suspect entered the yard by climbing over a shared wall between houses and took the scooter.

Officers from the Holon station and the Ayalon forensic unit responded to the scene, collected evidence, and identified a man dressed in dark clothing captured on surveillance footage entering the yard and committing the theft. During a routine patrol on Jerusalem Boulevard, police received a report about a person suspected of involvement in the incident. A motorcycle unit conducted searches and located a man matching the suspect's description on Tzofit Street.

Upon checking his details, police discovered he is a resident of the Palestinian territories staying illegally in Israel. The suspect was arrested, interrogated at the Holon station, and subsequently detained. The police intend to request an extension of his detention in court based on the investigation findings.
