Thousands Attend Annual Hagburat Terig Summer Shows in Jerusalem

The annual summer celebration by Hagburat Terig took place at the Binyanei HaUma convention center in Jerusalem, featuring 12 major performances over three busy days. Each day hosted four shows, with approximately 2,500 attendees per show, totaling an expected audience of around 30,000. After the first day, producers expressed great satisfaction with the event's success, highlighting the excitement of reconnecting with children and families who follow the Terignik monthly magazine.

Producer David Padida emphasized the show's growing scale and the special focus this year on delivering high-quality, Torah-based content for children. The Jerusalem Municipality supported the event again by subsidizing ticket prices for city residents, under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Rabbi Tzvika Cohen. A limited number of tickets remain available for the final shows.

The storyline follows the children of Hagburat Terig during their "Between the Times" vacation in the scenic Jerusalem hills, where they unexpectedly become involved in a plot to steal a sacred stone passed down since the destruction of the First Temple. A new interactive element this year is a Torah quiz based on the Mishnah Berurah, allowing children to participate and win valuable prizes.

The producers stressed their commitment to respecting their young audience by investing heavily in the production quality, aiming to provide the best possible cultural experience. Alongside the performances, families can enjoy special children's activity areas on their way to the stage.

This event remains a significant cultural highlight for the ultra-Orthodox community, combining entertainment with educational and religious values during the summer break.
