Netanyahu Joins LinkedIn to Engage Young, Tech-Savvy, and Moderate Right Voters

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has launched a new LinkedIn account, marking his entry into the professional social network primarily used by managers, entrepreneurs, and technology and economic professionals. This move aims to reach younger audiences, high-tech workers, and moderate right-wing voters, groups Netanyahu seeks to strengthen politically.

In his first post, written in both Hebrew and English, Netanyahu highlighted his recent diplomatic visit to Washington, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump and senior administration officials. He emphasized the reinforcement of the Israel-U.S. alliance and discussions on key issues such as countering the Iranian threat, ensuring Israel's security, and expanding peace in the Middle East.

The LinkedIn account launch also comes amid Netanyahu's criticism of the "law freezing the detention of draft evaders," which differentiates between ultra-Orthodox draft evaders and others. Netanyahu called the law "not good or effective" and pledged to work toward its repeal in the next government, a stance that has drawn criticism from political figures who see it as an attempt to appeal to moderate voters.

Netanyahu concluded his post by affirming Israel's commitment to defend itself against all threats and to work with the United States to reshape the region. He stated that the government is acting "with determination, responsibility, and strength" to secure Israel's safety and future generations.
