Israeli Central Elections Committee Opens Registration for Polling Station Secretaries with 3,000 NIS Daily Pay

The Central Elections Committee of Israel has opened registration for the roles of polling station secretaries and reception staff ahead of the 26th Knesset elections. The application process began on Monday at 10:00 AM and will remain open until Friday, August 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Candidates will be paid a gross daily salary of 3,000 Israeli new shekels, subject to an 18% special tax.

Polling station secretaries will be responsible for ensuring the proper conduct of voting, maintaining election integrity, identifying voters, managing protocols, opening and closing polling stations on legally mandated times, and transferring voting materials and results to regional committees. Applications must be submitted online exclusively through the official Central Elections Committee website.
