Rising NBA Star Deni Avdija Visits Israel, Shares Personal Insights and Future Goals

Deni Avdija, the rising Israeli basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA, is currently visiting Israel. In an interview on the program "HaOlam HaBoker," Avdija expressed his enjoyment of being home, highlighting the sun, sea, and good food as things he focuses on during his visits. He also appreciates the love he receives from the public and cherishes spending time with loved ones. When asked about what he looks forward to most upon returning to Israel, Avdija mentioned his mother's cooking and shared that he enjoys spoiling her with gifts such as clothes, bags, and shoes using his earnings.

Recently, Avdija was named the new ambassador for El Al's frequent flyer club alongside other Israeli celebrities. He explained that since he spends much of his life traveling by plane, it is enjoyable to be part of this campaign. Avdija described himself as a regular guy who loves playing basketball and tries to focus on his work while occasionally receiving accolades.

As the first Israeli selected for the NBA All-Star game, Avdija expressed pride in representing Israel and acknowledged that he still has much to achieve.
