National Insurance to Disburse Annual School Grant to Eligible Families on August 11

The National Insurance Institute of Israel announced that the annual school grant will be paid to eligible families on Tuesday, August 11, ahead of the upcoming school year. The grant aims to assist families with the significant expenses of school supplies and books. Payments will be made directly to recipients' bank accounts without requiring a special application for most eligible individuals.

Eligible recipients include single parents, divorced, separated, or widowed parents for children born between January 1, 2009, and December 31, 2020. Additionally, large families with four or more children under 18, born within the same date range, are eligible if they receive certain benefits such as income support, general disability, alimony, or survivor's pension.

This initiative is part of the National Insurance's efforts to ease the financial burden on families as the new school year approaches, ensuring timely support for educational expenses.
