Ultra-Orthodox Protesters Clash With Police Over IDF Draft in Jerusalem

Dozens of ultra-Orthodox protesters gathered near Shevaty Israel Street in Jerusalem to demonstrate against mandatory conscription into the Israel Defense Forces. The police reported that the protesters began blocking roads and ignored orders from officers to disperse, escalating the situation into a public disturbance. In response, riot police units from the Yasam and Magav forces were deployed to the scene to manage the unrest.
