Massive Wildfire Rages in Jerusalem Hills, Residents Evacuated

A large wildfire broke out recently in the wooded area near the settlement of Ksalon in the Jerusalem Hills. Approximately 30 firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene, supported by six firefighting aircraft operating from the air. Authorities began evacuating the first line of homes in Ksalon's Megilot HaEsh neighborhood to ensure residents' safety. Due to the fire, Route 395 has been closed to traffic from the Eshtaol junction to the Steff area. Firefighters continue efforts to control the blaze as evacuations proceed.
