Young Man Arrested After Throwing Chair at Security Guard in Eilat Nightclub

A nighttime disturbance at a nightclub in Eilat's tourist area ended with the arrest of a young man early Wednesday morning. Around 4:00 a.m., officers from the Eilat regional riot police unit noticed a crowd moving from the club area toward the main road. Initial inquiries revealed that the suspect had repeatedly climbed on tables and chairs inside the club despite security guards' requests to stop. After being removed from the venue, the suspect allegedly took a chair from a nearby business and threw it at a security guard, causing minor injuries. The suspect fled the scene but was quickly located and detained by riot police. He was taken for questioning at the police station and subsequently arrested. The police plan to bring him before the Eilat Magistrate's Court today to request an extension of his detention as the investigation continues.
