Three Suspects Arrested After Grenade Explosion in Bat Yam Residential Building
A grenade exploded in the lobby of a residential building on Yitzhak Sadeh Street in Bat Yam during the early hours, causing damage to the entrance but no injuries. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM when the grenade was thrown at the building's entrance. Police from the Bat Yam station and bomb disposal experts from the Tel Aviv district responded to the scene, collected evidence, and took witness statements.
Following an extensive search that extended to southern Israel, officers from the Ashdod police station identified and arrested three suspects aged 17, 31, and 33, all residents of the south, who were seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle. The suspects were transferred to Bat Yam police station for questioning. The police intend to request an extension of their detention based on the investigation findings.
