Israeli Soldier Suspected in West Bank Shooting Released to Base Detention
An Israeli soldier suspected of shooting and injuring a Palestinian minor in the village of al-Mughayir was interrogated at the joint command headquarters in the Samaria and Judea district. Following the investigation, the soldier was released to detention at his military base. This release was coordinated with the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division (Mista'arvim), which is conducting a parallel investigation into the actions of the forces involved at the scene. The suspect was on leave from the Israel Defense Forces at the time of the incident.
