Israel Finishes Eighth in European Artistic Swimming Duet Final
Israeli artistic swimmers Kati Konin and Aya Mazor delivered an impressive performance at the European Artistic Swimming Championships, securing eighth place in the free duet final on Saturday with a score of 248.8000 points. This marks the best result for Israeli athletes at the championship so far. Konin and Mazor outperformed duets from Britain, Switzerland, Georgia, and the strong Belarusian team, which finished ninth. Their routine showed significant improvement, with nearly five points added to their artistic impression score compared to the preliminaries, clean execution of elements, and higher difficulty in their movements. The Israeli team will next compete in the free team preliminary round on Sunday.
