Mother Dies and Daughter Injured After Taxi Hits Pedestrians in Nahariya
A tragic accident occurred on Friday in Nahariya when a taxi struck two pedestrians, a mother and her daughter, on President Ben-Zvi Boulevard. Emergency teams arrived promptly, providing initial medical care before transporting both victims to the Galilee Medical Center. The mother, approximately 67 years old, was in critical condition and unconscious upon arrival; she was pronounced dead shortly after. Her daughter, around 27 years old, sustained moderate injuries to her limbs and remains hospitalized in stable condition. The taxi driver, aged about 76, suffered minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene. Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
