Taxi Hits Two Pedestrians in Nahariya, Woman in Critical Condition

A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday on President Ben-Zvi Boulevard in Nahariya when a taxi struck two female pedestrians. A woman around 70 years old was critically injured and transported to the Galilee Medical Center while undergoing resuscitation efforts, after being found unconscious, without pulse or breathing. A younger woman, approximately 20 years old, sustained moderate injuries with limb trauma and was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital. The taxi driver suffered minor injuries and was also taken for medical care.

Senior Magen David Adom medic Reut Mashali described the incident as severe, noting the older woman had multiple injuries and required extensive resuscitation including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication. The police's Asher district traffic accident investigators have opened an inquiry into the circumstances of the crash.
