West Ham Considers Manor Solomon Among Three Final Winger Candidates

West Ham United is actively seeking to strengthen its wing position, with Israeli player Manor Solomon emerging as one of the three leading candidates. Solomon, who was loaned last season to Villarreal and Fiorentina, could replace Chris Smalling, who was sold to Al-Hilal for 64 million euros. According to reports from England, Solomon is competing with Arsenal's Reiss Nelson and Sunderland's Simon Adingra for the spot.

Reiss Nelson, loaned to Brentford last season, failed to score or assist in 10 appearances, and Arsenal is expected to demand around 12 million pounds for him. Nelson has also attracted interest from Valencia and Benfica Lisbon. Simon Adingra, owned by Sunderland, was loaned to Monaco where he scored three goals and provided two assists after joining in January. Valued at 22 million euros, Adingra might be loaned out again, although Sunderland may push for a permanent transfer.

Manor Solomon is expected to join West Ham on a permanent deal after three loan spells in the past two seasons. Fiorentina declined to exercise their 10 million euro purchase option, potentially allowing Tottenham Hotspur to accept a lower fee, which would give West Ham financial flexibility. The strong relationship between West Ham and Tottenham, highlighted by recent high-value transfers of players like Mohammed Kudus and Matheus Fernandes, could also influence the deal. Notably, Solomon is the only candidate with Championship experience, which may be valuable for West Ham as they aim to return to the Premier League.
