Partner to Provide Communication Infrastructure for Tel Aviv Congestion Tax Project

Partner Communications announced it will supply the communication infrastructure for the congestion tax project in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, known as Gush Dan. The project aims to reduce private car travel and encourage public transportation by charging vehicles entering high-demand zones based on location and time. Led by Electra Group, the system is expected to launch in 2028 and operate for at least 20 years. Partner anticipates revenues of up to 100 million shekels over this period.

Partner will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the communication network connecting toll gates to the central computing system. The infrastructure will integrate fiber optics with cellular networks. Additionally, Partner will provide monitoring, control, maintenance services, and host the project’s servers. Avi Dvora, Partner’s Business Division VP, expressed pride in participating in this strategic national project and highlighted the company’s extensive experience in managing critical communication systems for major Israeli organizations.
