Man Arrested in Jaffa After Video Surfaces of Woman's Assault on Nahalat Binyamin Street

A man was arrested on Wednesday in Jaffa on suspicion of assaulting a woman on Nahalat Binyamin Street. The arrest followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the attack, which occurred earlier that morning. Upon receiving the report and the footage, police launched an extensive search in the area to identify and locate the suspect.

The suspect was eventually found during a joint operation involving officers from the Jaffa police station and patrols from the Tel Aviv municipality's security division. He was taken in for questioning at the police station. Authorities stated their intention to present the suspect in court to request an extension of his detention based on initial investigative findings.
