Three-Year-Old Girl Chokes on Grape in Jerusalem, Hospitalized in Serious Condition
A three-year-old girl choked on a grape at her home in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. Rescue teams from United Hatzalah performed resuscitation efforts with the help of a paramedic who successfully removed the grape from her airway. The girl was then transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in serious condition. United Hatzalah advises cutting grapes into small pieces and ensuring toddlers chew thoroughly before swallowing to prevent such incidents.
