Israeli Cyber Unicorn Cyera Acquires Oasis Security for $1 Billion

Israeli cyber unicorn Cyera announced on Tuesday that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Israeli startup Oasis Security in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion. Around $700 million of the payment will be made in cash, with the remainder paid in Cyera shares. This acquisition follows Cyera's rapid growth, including a recent $600 million funding round that valued the company at $12 billion.

Oasis Security was founded in 2022 by CEO Danny Brickman and Product VP Amit Zimmerman, who met during their service in Israel's Intelligence Unit 81. The company specializes in securing non-human digital identities, a fast-growing cybersecurity category driven by increased use of AI agents. Oasis’s platform helps organizations discover, manage, and protect digital identities such as tokens, keys, service accounts, and AI agents, identifying risks and enabling real-time defenses.

To date, Oasis Security has raised $195 million, with its latest funding round in March valuing it at $700 million. Post-acquisition, Oasis will operate as a dedicated unit within Cyera, continuing to lead in non-human identity security while integrating both companies’ platforms. Brickman stated, "From day one, we recognized non-human identities as a key security challenge in the AI era. While Cyera redefined data security, we redefined identities for AI. Our shared vision accelerates achieving this future at scale."
