Trump Says Iran’s Leaked Deal Details Do Not Match the Written Agreement
Donald Trump said in a tweet that the details Iran leaked to the media had “no connection” to what was agreed in writing. He rejected the version Iran presented, saying it had “nothing to do with the truth” and called the behavior “despicable,” adding that “there is no such thing as acting in good faith” with Iran.
Trump also criticized what he described as Iran’s “weak and pathetic” talk about an agreement, saying the country should “get its act together, and fast.” The remarks came in response to the reported leak of the deal’s terms.
In the same post, Trump referred to a drone attack by Iran the previous night against Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz. He said the attack was fully repelled and was “completely unacceptable.”
