Israeli Police Boost Security for Givat Ze'ev Mayor Amid Threats and Incitement

The Israeli Police have increased security measures around Yossi Assraf, the mayor of Givat Ze'ev, after raising the threat level against him to level 4. This decision follows a recent wave of incitement and threats directed at Assraf and his family. One suspect has been arrested and is scheduled for a court hearing.

According to the Givat Ze'ev municipality, the threats stem from enforcement actions and reforms initiated by Assraf since taking office.
